Lisa Brunner and Holly Might (Pinto/Paint), and Vicki Cole and Count the San (Quarter Horse), and Alesia Johnson and  A Little Bit More (Appaloosa) have competed at the local Harmony Riders Association Horse Shows in Parish, NY for more than a decade. For more than 10 years, up through 1996 these three shared continual Top Honors winning Daily, Weekend and Year End Championships. In any given class, you could count on these three winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, thus being dubbed The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!   After such a long streak of winning, the owner/riders decided to move on and test their talents with younger, unproven horses. The 2-Day show at Harmony Acres in August 1998 was the site of the Formal Retirement of these teams, with the owners presenting one another with gifts, speeches being read and many tears falling. Shortly thereafter,  Vicki sold "Skip"  to a beginning rider, Jane DeForge in 1997. Alesia's Appy "Bit" is being shown by  Casey Nelson in Beginner (as well as XXXXXXX in Jr. classes). For the Annual 2-Day Horse Show at Harmony Acres 8/14/99, Lisa's little friend Katie Parrotte showed Holly in the Beginner competitions so the 3 "oldie but goodie" horses could all bring it home as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly ... and that's exactly what they did.
